With high lights concluded the “Sky Vodka Cancun Fashion Travel 2008”. This important event was carried out during three days in which were introduced the new fashion trends and accessories from Argentina, Paraguay and Mexico. The event was brought to a close on Saturday June 21 with a glamorous cocktail and a fashion show at Luxury Avenue. With more of 200 guests from Cancun’s high society the fashion show was divided into two parts: the first one in which were seen and praised the fresh proposals of designers Natalia Antolin and David Salomon, who accessorized their designs with Fendi’s, Tous’, Longchamp’s, DKNY’s, Coach’s, Ferragamo’s & Burberry’s items from the prestigious boutiques at Luxury Avenue. In the following part of the show the Spring & Summer 2008 collection from Pineda Covalin was presented to the audience. Almost 20 sculptured models sashayed with big style the new trends of this renowned, Mexican, designers.

Leon Alva presents his book

Always surprising and avant-garde artist, León Alva, introduced his editorial work “26 years of artistic career” to more than 200 special guests at Luxury Avenue’s mezzanine in April 18th. Proud and excited of his contribution for those less fortunate, León donated one of his works to Cancun’s International Women’s Club to be auctioned in benefit of Asosiación Pro Niños Excepcionales A.C. (Pro exceptional kids Association A.C.) and PAIPID (Terminal patients of AIDS and Cancer). Happy and thankful, León defines this project as a gift to Cancun and to the world.
