We take special pride in the comfort and cleanliness of our customized catamaran. If conditions are right, we won’t even turn on the engines and instead allow the Caribbean breezes to provide the windpower for our tour. If there’s a cruise ship anchored at Calica, we’ll often be able to get an ocean view you won’t find anywhere else. Speaking of views, the water is the only place to be to fully appreciate the spectacular beauty of a Mayan Riviera sunset. You’ll watch with awe as the sun gradually melts into the lush backdrop of the Yucatan.
In addition to the thrill of sailing, relaxing on the Paso Doble has its own rewards. Our guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. As an option, you may request an open bar and/or assortment of hors d’oeuvres. Our selection of adult beverages includes beer, tequila, rum punch, and margaritas. Our hors d’oeuvres menu typically includes finger paninis with ham and gouda cheese, mini bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon, dill or chives, vol-au-vents with spicy crab meat filling, and cream cheese topped with sun-dried tomatoes, and brochettes of gouda cheese, fresh basil and cherry tomatoes. The Paso Doble also features a shaded seating area and bathroom facilities.
At Paradise Catamarans, we work hard to create memories to last a lifetime. Our 46-foot catamaran has been customized for fun and comfort, with plenty of room to stretch out and easy access to the water.
The Mexican Caribbean is our home, and we’ll treat you to an experience you won’t find anywhere else. For the snorkeling portion of your charter tour, we’ve picked a beautiful, secluded location not far from an untouched area of the Riviera Maya. The In-Ha inlet offers underwater attractions for all skill levels. Sheltered from strong currents and shaped roughly like a horseshoe, In-Ha provides a natural sanctuary to tropical marine life.
You’ll swim at your own pace above the seabed below, with an unhurried view of the coral reef and marine life. The “Fish Identification Card” we issue to each snorkeler will help you better understand the diversity of the Riviera Maya ecosystem. Whether you are snorkeling in the shallows or exploring deeper areas that extend down to 25 feet, you’ll enjoy every minute of your time in the water.
Because safety always comes first at Paradise Catamarans, we employ some of the best English-speaking guides in the business. At minimum, each guide is certified in rescue diving and most are full-fledged divemasters. One of our professional guides is assigned to supervise no more than twelve snorkelers.
Our top-quality equipment complements the professionalism of our guides. You’ll appreciate our semi-dry snorkels. Unlike the cheaper models commonly provided to tourists, the purge valves in semi-dry snorkels minimize the amount of water entering the breathing tubes. Moreover, all of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized after each use.
