The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest coral reef in the world, runs parallel the Yucatan Peninsula.
The Great Barrier Reef in Australia is the only reef that is larger. In Puerto Morelos, the reef is closer to the shore than in other areas of the Riviera Maya.
In 1998, this section of the reef became a protected area. Snorkeling tours and scuba diving trips are available from several dive shops in the small, seaside town of Puerto Morelos.
It is illegal to swim out to the reef from the shore. To protect the reef, all snorkelers and divers must go out to the reef with accredited guides.

Pick ups would start at 7:00 am and your pick up time will depend on the tour departure that you choose and your hotel location.
After booking your tour you will receive a confirmation of your pick up time. Likewise, the shuttle will take you back to your hotel when the tour has finished.

You’ll arrive at “La Casa del Capitán”, our exclusive Beach Club at Puerto Morelos and receive an orientation about the activity, the reef park and security advices.**
You will receive indications to Gear Up and be ready to snorkel!.**
You’ll visit Two different reef areas with 45 minutes of duration each one and a 30 minutes break in between.
A certified guide will be with you at all times.
At any moment you can drink from our bar in the beach club our Fruit Punch (with alcohol), Flavoured water, Soda or Beer***
After the snorkeling activities you will be delighted with a lunch and fruit to recharge energy.

Take the experience with you! in our facilities you will be able to Rent a Go Pro camera for a little extra cost, so you can film and take pictures during your entire tour.
At the end you will be able to take all photos and videos into a USB or you can request it to be send via E-mail.
Rainy Day Bad Weather Warranty
On very rare occasions a Snorkel tour can be cancel due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
If the tour is cancel due to bad conditions, participants will be offered an alternative day or a refund of your tour.
